3. Hosting and Server Infrastructure (Cloudflare)

This website is hosted on Cloudflare’s serverless infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers) with object storage (Cloudflare R2). The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

When you access this website, Cloudflare processes technical data that is automatically transmitted by your browser, including:

4. Domain and DNS (Cloudflare)

The domain arun-neteler.com is registered and managed via Cloudflare. DNS queries are resolved through Cloudflare’s global network. During this process, Cloudflare may temporarily process your IP address to route you to the correct server. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Embedded YouTube Video

The homepage contains an embedded YouTube video using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The provider is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

In privacy-enhanced mode, YouTube does not set cookies until you start playing the video. When the video is loaded, a connection to Google’s servers is established and your IP address is transmitted to Google. The video is only loaded when you open the page (lazy loading). The 13-Week Cash Flow project page (/13wcf) displays an Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx) using Microsoft’s Office for the Web viewer. The provider is Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, USA.

To render the spreadsheet, the URL of the Excel file hosted on this website is transmitted to Microsoft’s servers. When you open the project page, your browser connects to view.officeapps.live.com, and Microsoft may process your IP address and technical request data. The Excel file itself is hosted on this website’s Cloudflare R2 storage and is fetched by Microsoft’s servers for rendering. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing an interactive project showcase).

Data may be transferred to the United States. Microsoft is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Further information is available at privacy.microsoft.com.

7. LinkedIn

This website contains a link to my LinkedIn profile (linkedin.com/in/arun-neteler). Clicking this link takes you to LinkedIn’s website. No personal data is transmitted to LinkedIn by this website itself. From the moment you click the link, the privacy policy of LinkedIn Corporation applies. LinkedIn may collect data independently. The legal basis for including the link is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

8. Contact

If you contact me by email, the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, message content) is processed to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in communication). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of the enquiry and no statutory retention obligations apply.
